Shepperton Matters — November 2026: Charlton Village blooms Gold again
A celebration of Charlton Village’s second successive In Bloom Gold Award and the community effort behind it, featured on page 16 of Shepperton Matters.
We’re delighted to see Charlton Village’s community spirit celebrated in the November edition of Shepperton Matters. Turn to printed page 16 of issue 170 for the feature by CVRA Chair Derek Ferguson.
The article looks back at Gold Awards and Small Village category wins in South & South East in Bloom in both 2025 and 2026. It celebrates the year-round contribution of volunteers, residents, local businesses and supporters who help care for Charlton Village.
It also explores CVRA’s wider work to represent residents and support the village, alongside plans for more planting, wildlife habitats and community activities.
