Meet the Committee

Derek has lived in Charlton Village for more than 28 years and raised his family here with his wife, Helen. He retired after 34 years working in retail management.

A retired nurse and midwife, Lesley has lived in Charlton Village for more than 37 years. She remains dedicated to maintaining its vibrant, close-knit village community.

I have been fortunate to call Charlton Village my home for many years, and I am very proud to be part of the CVRA committee. I take my role as treasurer very seriously and enjoy playing my part in supporting our wonderful village community. I am actively involved with St Mary Magdalene Church and love spending time walking my greyhounds around the village. As part of our fantastic gardening volunteer team, I enjoy tending to the flower beds and planters, helping to make our village a colourful, welcoming and cared for place.

Helen worked in human resources management for 33 years and now works as an exam invigilator in a local school.

Denise has lived in Charlton Village for more than 35 years. Having previously served on the CVRA committee, she has rejoined after taking a break.

Sarah and her husband, Phil, moved to Charlton Village in 1986. She is a member of the Sunbury and District Welsh Society, belongs to a poetry group that meets in Shepperton and enjoys keeping fit.

After living in Sunbury for more than two decades, Pete moved to Charlton Village in 2024 and joined CVRA. He enjoys running, cycling and paddleboarding.

James has lived in Charlton Village since 2019 with his wife and children, having always been local to the area. He owns a warehousing and logistics company based in Hampshire and is a keen Fulham FC supporter.
