Manor Farm — outline approval and detailed plans
Outline permission for up to 30 homes was granted on appeal in January 2024. A newer application seeks approval of the detailed plans for 25 homes.
The Planning Inspector allowed appeal APP/Z3635/W/23/3319062 on 25 January 2024, granting outline permission under application 22/00483/OUT for up to 30 homes at Manor Farm, Charlton Road. Access was considered at outline stage; appearance, landscaping, layout and scale were reserved.
Application 26/00928/RMA, validated on 3 September 2026, now seeks approval of those reserved details for 25 homes. The council’s register records this application as awaiting a decision.
These are two stages of the same site’s planning history: the earlier outline approval should not be confused with a decision on the newer 25-home detailed scheme.
